About Me

My name is Rachel Kirkland, ConTact C.A.R.E Practitioner. I am extremely passionate about your body’s innate ability to heal.

I have a home-based practice in Lynfield, central Auckland, where I live with my beautiful family.

I discovered ConTact C.A.R.E while on my quest to find something, anything, that could ease my pain. I exhausted all my options, from Chiropractic to Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Massage, TBM, Bowen Therapy, Reiki, Hypnosis… and everything in between. While all of the above helped to a certain extent, I only felt temporary relief.

I have been in 3 car accidents, all of which were rear-endings, and all during my early twenties. The pain started in my late twenties. For over 10 years, I suffered, not really understanding why I was in so much intense, constant pain. I had severe TMJ issues with malocclusion, causing debilitating face, neck, and head pain. My hips and ribs were twisted like a corkscrew. My torso faced a completely different direction from my feet. It was torture to drive, to walk, even to sit still…

I lived in constant anxiety, with a literal sense of impending doom all day, every day, for many years. I used alcohol to cope, chasing a feeling that had long dissipated into oblivion.

It was ConTact C.A.R.E that created the change in my body, which ultimately changed my life. It is now my turn to help you change yours.

I am a certified Practitioner in ConTact C.A.R.E, having undergone 3 years of formal training.

I am skilled and experienced in Spinal Energetics, Level 1, and will be certified in late 2025.

I am also a fully trained Practitioner in the ENS, an advanced Electro Neuro-Stimulator (ENS) device.
